Greetings!
On behalf of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Phi Alpha Omega Chapter, I extend a warm welcome to our official website. Chartered on May 16, 1998, our chapter is comprised of a diverse group of women deeply committed to serving Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley.
For the past 27 years, Phi Alpha Omega has diligently upheld our sorority's motto of "Service to All Mankind" by providing relevant programming and supporting valued community partners. We focus on initiatives that empower families, build economic wealth, enhance our environment, advocate for social justice, and uplift the communities we serve.
Our partnership with the Tea Rose Foundation of Northwest Arkansas has been instrumental in awarding over $400,000 in scholarships to deserving high school seniors, undergraduate, graduate, and professional students. This is largely thanks to our signature event and annual fundraiser, Celebrity Waiter. Other notable programs include "We Write For You"; which celebrates Brown and Black authors and connects them with children and families, and our Debutante program, designed to introduce young ladies to society while honoring their transition into adulthood. Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., founded on January 15, 1908, at Howard University in Washington, D.C., has grown into a thriving sisterhood of nearly 300,000 college trained women, all bound by a shared commitment to sisterhood and service.
We are delighted you have taken the time to explore our website and learn more about our chapter and its programs. We invite you to return for updates on upcoming programs, service opportunities, activities, and events, and to connect with us on social media. Thank you for your unwavering support as we continue to serve our community.
Yours in Service,
Stacee Lambey-Nichols
