Forms can be downloaded from the link below and sent to our Membership Chair at Membership@akapao.com. Dues vary depending on your current membership status. The Membership Committee looks forward to ensuring that your transition to the Phi Alpha Omega Chapter is as seamless and welcoming as possible.
To reactivate your membership, please complete the following forms:
- For members that have been inactive for one year or more, please complete the Graduate Chapter Reactivation Form.
- For members that have been active at any time since 2003, please complete a Transfer Verification form also.

Sisterly relations play a major role in the strengthening of the bonds that unite us as sorors. Each soror must make it a personal goal to foster sisterly relations by “nurturing the ivy.”
To nurture means to give care and attention to someone and to supply them with nourishment to further their development. It is important for all sorors to embrace the concept of nurturing the bonds with personal traits and qualities proven to make for healthy relationships.

Membership in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority is generally classified as undergraduate or graduate. In both classifications:
- Prospective members for the Graduate Chapter must have high ethical and moral standards
- Membership can only be obtained by completing the Sorority's official Membership Intake Process (MIP)
Interested candidates should not participate in demeaning, degrading or unkind acts. Should members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority ask you to perform tasks or participate in activities other than those outlined in our MIP, they are in violation of the Sorority's policies and practices and do not represent the values of the organization. This behavior will not be tolerated.
