Tea Rose Foundation of Northwest Arkansas

The Tea Rose Foundation of Northwest Arkansas and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Phi Alpha Omega Chapter are excited to present their 19th Annual Celebrity Waiter Gala on November 11, 2017 at Embassy Suites - Pinnacle Ballroom in Rogers, Arkansas. To commemorate Veteran’s Day and all those who have served, we will honor Corporate Executive and Army Veteran - Tracey Lloyd.   An Army Captain and Bronze Star Recipient, she is currently District Manager - JCPenney’s. Additionally, our Celebrity Waiters will be men and women who have served our country. We invite you to consider supporting those who have served our country by becoming a “Sponsor” at this year’s inspirational Gala.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., founded in 1908 at Howard University, Washington, D.C., is the oldest Black Greek Letter Sorority. The Sorority, built on the foundation of providing “Service to all Mankind,” boasts a world-wide membership of over 200,000 college-trained women. The Phi Alpha Omega Chapter is located in Bentonville, Arkansas and has proudly served the needs of the Northwest Arkansas community since 1998. The Tea Rose Foundation of Northwest Arkansas is a non profit 501(c) (3) organization that accepts tax deductible contributions and serves as the charitable arm of the chapter.

We continue to expand our reach to support not only scholarships, but also International Sorority initiatives such as health and global poverty. This year’s theme will be a “Salute to Excellence - Honoring all who have Served”. Guests will enjoy a green carpet welcome, dinner, live entertainment and silent and oral auctions. Funds raised not only provide college scholarships for deserving high school, undergraduate and graduate students from our community, but will also support our health and poverty initiatives. Over the past five years scholarship awards have been granted to over 125 students valued at over $130,000. In total 220 students have been awarded scholarships valued at over $310,000.

Sponsors receive recognition for their company while gaining visibility with potential employees and/or customers in our diverse Northwest Arkansas community. We invite your support through corporate sponsorships, corporate tables, or auction items. Advertisements may also be purchased and will appear in our printed souvenir journal. On behalf of the Tea Rose Foundation of Northwest Arkansas and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Phi Alpha Omega Chapter, we hope you will consider supporting this event and look forward to your response.
