This event serves as an annual fundraiser for the Phi Alpha Omega Memorial Scholarship Fund and other sorority community service programs. This year’s event centered on highlighting local small business owners; especially those with ties to the fashion industry.  We invited business owners associated within the apparel, make-up, hair-styling and talent management industries to be our Celebrity Waiters.

We hosted 370 guests for an evening of  dinner, dancing and live musical entertainment by The Rodney Block Collective of Little Rock.  This year featured a high-end fashion show produced by Brandice Henderson-Daniel, founder and CEO of Harlem’s Fashion Row.  Brandice Henderson-Daniel was also our 2016 honoree for her visionary work in giving a platform to emerging fashion talent of color.  (Click the video below to see HFR’s Spring 2016 Show)

Guests enjoyed both live and silent auctions including a four course art-inspired, in-home dinner for six, prepared and served by Case Dighero, Director of Culinary Services at Eleven in Crystal Bridges and hosted by Coach Mike Anderson (University of Arkansas Head Basketball Coach) and his wife Marcheita.  Also featured this year was the work of artist Darren Guest.  Click HERE to see more of his work.

In addition to our normal program, we raffled off a chance to win a 2-year, pre-paid lease on a 2017 Mercedes-Benz CLA or GLA provided by Mercedes-Benz of Northwest Arkansas or a 50/50 raffle.  Andrew Tucker was our lucky winner of the 50/50 raffle!
